Two small Scottish companies of Glasggow, Picsel (Research) Ltd and Picsel Technologies Ltd have filed a lawsuit against Apple’s hot-selling iPhone and iPod Touch devices. They say that Apple has incorporated Picsel-patent technology that facilitates rapid redrawing of content displayed on the screen of the devices. According to the company, this technology allows iPhone and iPod Touch users to zoom and pan across documents and web pages without waiting for a long time for the screen to be refreshed.
The Picsel companies say that they have invested million of dollars in developing this technology. Still, the lawsuit does not ask for any re-compensation for damages.
