Many people may have been upset with the news of Google – Address Book syncing being enabled with iPhone and iPod. However, all you people who are feeling low because of this news can now rejoice! There is a way out that does not require any syncing to iPod or iPhone - editing .plist files.

The .plist files are present with Address Book.app and are created when any iPhone or iPod is synced first. So all you need to do is sync one such device one time only so that the .plist entry is created. However, some people say that if a device is synced two times or more, the entry value may change. So just be careful while using this hack!
